Marcos Lopez

Marcos Lopez passed from this life on June 23, 2023 at the age of 73. He was born January 12, 1950 in Casa Grande, Arizona to Augustine Lopez and Magdelina Soliz. Marcos was a skilled interior and exterior painter at Lopez Painting and a member of Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching movies, going to car shows, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for being a loving and caring father, brother, and grandfather. He was always laughing and helping his loved ones.
Marcos is survived by his grandchildren Acatrez Hernandez, Mercedez Hernandez, Zenia Hernandez, Anthony Guerra, Lashanna Guerra, Infinity Lopez, Zayden Benavidez, Serenity Benavidez, Heavenly Benavidez, and Zeven Benavidez, and his great-grandchildren Kaydence Hernandez, Leigha Machado, Jaeleigh Almaguer, Nevaeh Guerra, and Adriellie Almaguer. He is preceded in death by his brother Augustine Lopez, Jr., his sisters Janie Garza, Mary Rangel, and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with interment to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 2 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.
