Marcelineo Gauna

Marcelino "Morris" Gauna passed from this life on December 30, 2022 at the age of 78. He was born July 17, 1944 in Cameron, Texas to Fernando Gauna and Demetria Granado in Cameron, TX. On March 13, 1999, he married Connie and they shared 36 years together. Morris enjoyed wood working and building things. He and was a self-employed carpenter and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Morris is survived by his beloved wife Connie, his six sons Wally Gauna, Rocky Gauna, Rene Gauna, Alfred Gauna, Rudy Samarippa, Gilbert Barrientos, his daughter Carol Parton, 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter in law Rosalinda Gauna, his granddaughter Bridgette Marie Gauna, his 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 6 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
