Lupe (Garcia) Montalvo

Lupe Montalvo went to her eternal home October 1, 2021, at the age of 88. She was born August 30, 1933, in San Antonio, TX. She married Eustacio Montalvo, and they shared 51 years together. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and a loving housewife. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, gambling, and taking care of her grandchildren. She will be remembered for being a great mother and grandmother, and for the wonderful person she was.
Those left to cherish her memory are Juan Montalvo, Lily Jaramillo, Raymon Montalvo, Mary Lou Montalvo, Mary Anne Palmertree, Veronica Garcia, Michael Montalvo, and Gene Montalvo.
Lupe is preceded in death by her husband Eustacio Montalvo, Paula Maldonado, Victor Montalvo, Ruben Montalvo, Susie Montalvo, Patricia Montalvo, and David Montalvo.
Lupe has 31 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Honoring Lupe as pallbearers are Tim Montalvo, Ramiro Calderon Jr., , Victor Montalvo, Sean David Montalvo, Jose Felipe Garcia, Brian Hernandez, Raymon Montalvo Jr., and Brandon Montalvo.

Vistitation will be held Tuesday, October 5 from 3:00 to 9:00 with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Wednesday, October 6 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
