Lupe Medrano

February 20, 1930 — October 14, 2020

Guadalupe Mungia Medrano, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 14, 2020. She was born February 20, 1930 in Pueblo Vaca, Texas to Tiodoso and Oliah Mungia. Lupe shared 46 years with her husband Tony Medrano. She was employed at Plains Linen Service as a laundry aid. Lupe enjoyed attending church and was a member of the Flint Avenue Baptist Church. She loved spending time with family, drinking coffee, eating caldo and watermelon, and watching her puppy. Lupe will be remembered for the unconditional love she had for everyone family or not. Her loving personality will be greatly missed.

Lupe is survived by her spouse Tony Medrano; her 12 children Teresa Cantu, Mario Davila, Fred Davila, Oscar Davila, Emma Garza, Melinda Davila, Alex Davila, Betty Rocha, Irma Garza, Steven Davila, Christopher Davila, and Senorio Davila, Jr.; 28 grandchildren; and 63 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son Raul Brunson Davila, her great-grandchild Aaron Lee Cantu, Jr., and her daughter Elizabeth Davila.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Flint Baptist Church with her son Pastor Mario Davila officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
