Lucy (Garcia) Martinez

Lucy Martinez passed from this life on October 31, 2022 at the age of 55. She was born November 10, 1966 in Lubbock, TX to Thomas and Rufina Martinez. She graduated from Lubbock High School. Lucy was a homemaker and shared 35 years of her life with Angel Savedra. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and loved to travel. Lucy enjoyed being outdoors and attending her grandchildren's sports. She will be remembered for going above and beyond for her children and grandchildren. She was very bougie and had to have the best of everything. If anyone saw the big orange Jeep they knew it was "Lucy Lu."
Lucy is survived by her children Zachary Martinez and Joshua Martinez, her daughter-in-law Anita Lopez, and her grandchildren Zachary, Zarius, and Zalynn. She is preceded in death by Angel Savedra.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Monday, November 7th, 2022 and from 9:00am-9:00pm on Tuesday, November 8th,2022 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
