Lucia Prieto

Lucia Prieto passed from this life on February 16, 2023. She was born December 13, 1936 in Terlingua, Texas to Librado and Maria Cadena. She married Hilario Prieto on July 22, 1955 in Plains, TX. She was employed by Texas Tech University, First Baptist Church and Lee Lewis. Lucia enjoyed shopping, Bingo, and mani/pedis. She loved to eat at the Red Zone and to listen to music and dance.
Those left to cherish her memory are Armando Prieto, Yolanda Tobias, Lionel Prieto, Arturo Prieto, Ernesto Prieto, and Delma Prieto, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, her sisters Francisca Dominguez of Crane, TX, Rosalima Williams of Grandfalls, TX, Sebastiana Acosta of Grandfalls, TX, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Monday, February 20th, 2023, and from 9:00am- 9:00pm on Tuesday, February 21st, 2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 21st, 2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
