Lucas Gonzales

Lucas Gonzales IV passed from this life on December 29, 2024 at the age of 17.  He was born July 24, 2007 in Lubbock, Texas to Lucas Gonzales III and Jessica Renee Garcia. He attended Lubbock Cooper and New Hope Academy and was a member of Church on the Rock.  Lucas was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and tattooing.  He liked entertaining, listening to music and dancing.  Fishing was also a hobby he greatly enjoyed.  Lucas was kind, compassionate, and had a loving heart for others and put them before himself.  He had a style of his own and always smelled good.  He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and goofiness.

Lucas is survived by his parents Jessica Garcia and Lucas and Rosalinda Gonzales, his sisters Aralicia, Deserae, and Sky Gonzales, his brothers Nathan Hernandez and Stevan Castellon, his nieces Felicity Hinojosa and Skylar Gonzales, his nephew Ozias Frazier, and his grandparents Lucas and Mary Gonzales, Mary Torres, and Rene Garcia.   He is preceded in death by Carolina Gonzales, Delfino Lopez, Carolina Gonzales, Alvin Estill, Freddy Gonzales, Bertha Gonzales, Alton Estill, Johny Gonzales, LeeRoy Estill, Mary Barron Lopez, and Lucas Gonzales Sr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with Pastor Fermin Sifuentez officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Garden Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 8 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.
