Leslie Smithwick

Leslie Louise Smithwick, age 70, passed away peacefully on December 17th, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born September 9th, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee. Leslie was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, and a member of the Delta Theta Chi Sorority. Leslie was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She was an animal lover and cared for many companion animals throughout her life.

Leslie is survived by her brother Lee Smithwick and wife Brenda of Lubbock, Texas; sister Barbara Gilmer and husband Hank of Auburn, Alabama; nieces and nephews Patricia McCalla and husband Jonathan of Plano, Texas, John Smithwick of Lubbock, Texas and Lauren Smithwick of Lubbock, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Presley Strange Smithwick III (November 27, 1928-September 16, 1983) and Patricia Flippin Smithwick (September 22nd, 1929-November 30th, 2022).
