Kristine (Montoya) Fernandez

Kristine P. Fernandez passed from this life on January 9, 2022 at the age of 57. She was born May 9, 1964 in Lubbock, TX to Mary and Joe Angel Montoya, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Kristine enjoyed watching reality TV shows and babysitting. She will be remembered for caring for others and putting everyone before herself.

She is survived by her mother Mary Montoya, her life long partner, Martin Martinez, her sons Noel (Cassandra) Fernandez, Joel Fernandez, and Ernest Martinez, her grandchildren Desiree Fernandez, Kayli Fernandez, Kaleb Fernandez, Xaiver Fernandez, Kayden Fernandez, Nazreth Fernandez, Julian and Donatello Martinez, her great-grandchild Adalynn Joelee Fernandez and nieces and nephews Natalie, Valerie, Jaydon and Josiah Montoya.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Angel Montoya, Sr., her husband, Fernando Fernandez, Jr., and her brother Joe Angel Montoya, Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 13 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
