Julian Bermudes

Julian Bermudes of Lubbock, Texas was born in Poteet, TX on February 16, 1937 to Luis and Virginia Bermudes who preceded him in death. Julian went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 25, 2019 at the age of 83 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, of over 33 years, Genoveva Gonzales Bermudes on April 22, 1993.
Julian Leaves behind six children; Abelardo Bermudes, Delia Perez, Virginia Valdez, Elena Trevino (Hilbert), Laura Cuevas (Jose Luis) and Alicia Bermudes; 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Julian Bermudes worked for the City of Lubbock for 25 years before retirement. He was a musician and very involved in his Church. Julian was also involved in his children and grandchildren's lives. He was known to his friends as Mr. B, and to his grandchildren as "Pimpa". His hobbies include yard work and playing guitar for his family.
Visitation will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Thursday, August 29 from 9am-9pm, and again on Friday, August 30 from 9am-9pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 31 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church beginning at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Bermudes will be Julian Rojas, Martin Bermudes, Armondo Perez, Ruben Valdez, Jr. Derrick Ramirez, and Michael Cuevas.
