Juanita Perez, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on August 12, 1951, in San Antonio, Texas, Juanita was known for her loving and caring spirit, which touched the lives of many. She had the remarkable ability to make anyone feel welcome.

Throughout her life, Juanita embraced the roles of wife, mother, and grandmother, cherishing her family above all else. She loved her daughters, Bonnie Solis and her husband Jesus, and Judy Mendez and her husband Noel. She took great pride in watching her kids and grandkids grow. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Jonathan Perez, Vanessa Mendez, Aaron Mendez, Noel Mendez Jr., Mariah Butler, Raven Butler, Tyrone Boyd Jr., Aaliyah Jackson, Amari Jackson, Isabella Solis, Sophia Solis, and Makayla Solis, as well as her six great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Juanita is remembered fondly by her two sisters, Alvena Garza and Margret Rodriguez, who shared in both laughter and tears through the years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Angelita Venzor Rodriguez and Socorro Neva Rodriguez, along with her older sister, Irene Callahan, and niece, Erlinda Price, yet their memories live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Juanita found joy in the simple pleasures of life, engaging in hobbies such as sewing, coloring, and listening to old records. She created countless memories during family gatherings, where her laughter echoed through the living room, reminding all of the warmth of togetherness. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around her ability to provide for and care for those around her, ensuring that every loved one felt cherished.

Juanita Perez's unwavering love and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of all those who were fortunate to know her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the lives of her family and friends, leaving an indelible mark on the world around her.
