Juan Rios

April 5, 1966 — May 4, 2025

Juan “Munke” Rios lived a life full of love, laughter, and loyalty. He will be remembered most for the way he called out “Babe!”—a daily, joyful tribute to his beloved wife, Lupe Rios, with whom he shared 34 beautiful years. To know Juan was to know true devotion—to his family, his friends, and especially his grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and joy.

He is survived by: His wife Lupe Rios. Son, Alvino Rios (Christina) Daughter Britany M Rios (David) Son Joshua Rios from Lubbock Tx. Sister Anita McNeal from Las Vegas. Lydia (Jessie) Garcia From Lubbock. Daisy (Frank) Salinas from Slaton. Brother Ricardo (Elizabeth) Aguirre from Krum Tx, Sister Diana (Ricky) Arguelles from Lubbock. His Pride and Joy were his Grand Children: Elijah and Natalie Guitron, Xzavian, Zaniyah and Maleni Perez. Ace Thompson, Mia, Ashton and Madeline Rios.

He had a passion for the simple pleasures: fishing, motorcycles, western, war movies, music, ironing, butterfingers, ice lemon and making others laugh. Whether quoting Blood In, Blood Out, helping with homework, dancing in the kitchen, or fixing anything in sight, Juan made every moment memorable. He had a writer’s heart, a sharp sense of humor, and a soul that made everyone feel at home. Munke was the kind of man who showed up—with a tool in one hand and a joke in the other.

He is proceeded in death by His son Juan Martin Rios Jr. Father Perfecto T Rios and Mother Josefina Mejia. His Brother in law Gary McNeal and his Niece Miesha Noami McNeal. His legacy is one of love, strength, and unforgettable warmth. He will be missed deeply and remembered always.
