Juan Castro

Juan Castro, 72, passed from this life on, May 17, 2024, at his place of residence surrounded by his family.  He was born March 12, 1952, in Sinton, Texas to Eliodoro & Esperanza  Castro.

He attended Shallowater School.  He was a Welder and worked at the COOP Cotton Division as a Grader.  He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church.   He enjoyed reading his Bible, fishing, golfing and rooting for the Houston Astros.  Mostly of all, he enjoyed his grandchildren.

He will be remembered by his life lessons and encouragements.  He was a big part of his church, Our Lady of Grace.

He is survived by his two daughters Andrea and Amanda Castro of Lubbock.  Seven grandchildren, Jordan Flores, Juan Palacio, Aryianna Palacio, Darion Palacio, Alyssa Martinez, Jediah Cortez and Nehemiah Alonzo.

He is preceded in death by his wife Marga Castro, father Eliodoro, mother Esperanza two brothers Domingo and David Castro and three nephews Adam Hernandez Castro, Pablo Castro Jr, Paul Anthony Castro.

Pallbearers: Jordan Flores, Charlie Guevara, Juan Palacio, Darion Palacio, Alyssa Martinez, Nehemiah Alonzo.

Visitation:  Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm.  Rosary at 6:00pm.

Funeral services: Friday, May 24, 2024, 11am at Our Lady of Grace Church by Deacon Joe.

Burial: Peaceful Gardens.  Return to Our Lady of Grace for food.
