Jose Flores

Jose R. Flores was born on July 22, 1935 in La Feria, TX to Valentine and Maria De Jesus Flores who preceded him in death. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 19, 2019 at the age of 83 years. He was also preceded in death by one child, Lucy Castillo. Jose is survived by his loving wife, Jesusa Luna Flores; children, Frank Reyna (Sandra), Dora Cantu, Eloy Reyna, Aida Mae Tenorio (Paul), Cynthia Garza, Annabelle Garcia (Elmo) and Joe Flores, Jr. (Holly); 19 grandchildren, and 47 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 21 from 5-9 pm and again on Monday, April 22 from 9 am-9 pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 23 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the Idalou Cemetery.
