John M. Perez

John M. Perez passed from this life on November 13, 2021, at the age of 50. He was born July 24, 1971, in Hobbs, NM to Felix and Irene Perez. On August 14, 1987, he married Angelica (Angie) Perez and they shared 34 years together. He graduated from Abernathy High School and was employed as a diesel technician at United Rentals. He was a member of the North Side Baptist Church in Abernathy, TX. He enjoyed Jesus, his family, hunting, fishing, and cars. He will be remembered for his strong love, peaceful wisdom, big heart, and his love for Jesus.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two brothers Mark and Bird, his two sisters Elizabeth (Lisa) and Rachel, his "Lady" Angelica (Angie) Perez, two daughters Taylor and Victory, two sons-in-law John Rangel and Anton Lewis, his eight grandchildren Lolo, Bryson, Baby J, Annalicia, Celestina, Quincy, Giselle, and Makai and two dogs, Victor and K.O.
He is preceded in death by his parents Felix and Irene Perez.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 19 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with Mercy, Lisa Alfaro officiating.
