John Pecina Iii

John Lara Pecina III, 5, passed from this life on December 7, 2023 at his home in Lubbock, TX surrounded by his family. He was born on October 25, 1970 in Snyder, TX to John Lara Pecina, Jr. and Gloria Tagle Pecina. He is survived by his mother Gloria Tage Pecina, brother Mike Pecina, two sisters Senaida Ashmore and Maryann Tagle Gonzalez. John is preceded in death by his father John Lara Pecina, Jr. and other family. He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. He had two God children that he loved very much. He also had a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He will be remembered for being a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. John loved to dance and spend time with family and friends. He also loved to spend time with his beloved bird Elliott, his cat Mister, and his dog Coco.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Spur, Texas.
