Jessica Garza, a radiant spirit who brought joy and laughter into the lives of all who had the privilege to know her, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, at the age of 43, with her beloved mother, Beatrice Maldonado, by her side. Born on February 5, 1982, Jessica was a true light in this world, captivating hearts with her infectious smile and unwavering positivity.

Known for her happy demeanor, Jessica had a unique ability to brighten up any room just by being in it. Her laughter was a melody that resonated with everyone she encountered, leaving an imprint of warmth and love wherever she went. Though she faced challenges, her spirit was unyielding; she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often seen dancing in her wheelchair, always reveling in the company of others.

Jessica cherished moments spent with family and friends, a testament to the countless bonds she nurtured throughout her life. She loved to have her nails and hair done, took delight in watching cartoons, coloring, and indulging in delicious meals. Her faith held a central place in her heart; she believed in God and found solace in attending church services, which brought her great joy and fulfillment.

She leaves behind her devoted family: her mother, Beatrice Maldonado, her father, Abel Maldonado; her sisters, Maggie Castillo, Malory Rodriguez, Justina Piercteny, Julie Maldonado, and Katie Maldonado; her brother, Jared Maldonado; as well as her aunts, Brenda Lopez and Sandra Quintero, and her uncle, Alvin Garza. Each of them carries a piece of Jessica's spirit within them, a reminder of the beauty of her heart and the strength of her love.
