Jerry Benitez

Jerry Benitez, 49, of Lubbock, Texas went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2018 after a long struggle with cancer.  He is survived by his spouse Yesenia; children Jakobi, Rico, Sapphire and Janice; grandchildren Rico, Priseiss, and Romeo; his pet KeKe; and his siblings Virgil, Herman, Annie and Velma.  He was preceded in death by his parents Wencelou and Dominga and brothers Ronnie and Vince.  Jerry was a professional painter and avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and wrestling.  He enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Rosary services will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 7:00 PM.  Funeral services will be Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lubbock, Texas with burial to follow in the Idalou Cemetery in Idalou, Texas under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
