Jeremiah Xavier Lorimer

Jeremiah Xavier Lorimer, 18, of Lubbock passed away March 13, 2020. His life began May 14, 2001 and was filled with love, friendships, sports and experiences. Jeremiah graduated from Idalou High School in 2019 where he excelled in athletics and was a member of NHS. He enjoyed being a mentor to children and participated in Shattered Dreams. As a younger student, Jeremiah attended Spur ISD and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Jeremiah currently attended South Plains College.

Jeremiah is survived by his parents James and Becky Jones, his brother Colton Jones, and his sisters Joyce Riedel, Jamie Stone, Jessica Williams, and Heather Jones.

Jeremiah will be remembered for his incredible smile, remarkable athleticism, and the ability to bring happiness to those around him. He was a hard worker and friend to people of all ages and many places.

A private, family funeral service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels 407 N. University in Lubbock, TX,with Rev. Rory Mosley officiating. Burial will follow at the Idalou Cemetery.

In response to the developing public health concern we must take precautionary measures according to the directives of local and state authorities and adjust the number of guests in attendance to 10 or less.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to an autism charity of your choice.
