Issac Montoya

Issac Montoya of Lubbock, TX was born on April 6, 1985, to Jerry Montoya and Kathy Rodriguez. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 16, 2019, at the age of 34 years. He loved his kids more than anything in the world. They were his pride and joy. His second love was cars. He loved being in them, under them or outside of them. A lot of people’s daily driving route took them by Issac’s mother’s house, and the daily fixture there was Issac working on his car. He was the sweetest, kindest soul! He had a passion for life that is imprinted in our hearts forever. Issac is survived by his father, Jerry Montoya, mother, Kathy Rodriguez, Step-dad, Mike Sierra, children; Elexia Montoya, Ariana Montoya, Issac Montoya II and Dominique Renee Nunez, brother, Jerry Montoya Jr., sisters; Yvette M. Moreno, Kora Cornelius, and his girlfriend, Veronica Salas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23 from 9am-9pm and again on Thursday, October 24 from 9am-9pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm, all at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church on Friday, October 25 beginning at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.
