Isidro Barragan, 74, of Arlington, TX, a beloved father, grandfather and brother passed away on January 13, 2025.
Born in Los Angeles, CA, on May 15th of 1950, Isidro was the cherished son of the late Guadalupe Barragan and Clemente Moreno.
Isidro built a life defined by resilience, strength, and an unwavering dedication to his craft. Throughout his career, he worked tirelessly in various trades. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, from cheering on his favorite sports team to sharing his craftsmanship and life lessons with loved ones.
He is survived by his children: Erica Moreno of Arlington, TX; Sergio and Cynthia Moreno of Houston, TX; Eric Moreno of Houston, TX; and Isidro Barragan Sanchez of Fresno, CA; his six grandchildren and siblings: Evelia Sanchez, Elvira Vasquez, Rosa Ybarra, Mary Castro, Clemente Moreno Jr. and Blanca Camargo.
Isidro is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Clemente Moreno.
His legacy of strength, laughter, and hard work will forever remain in the hears of all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 5 PM-8 PM at Guajardo Funeral Home in Lubbock, TX with a Rosary at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 2 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lubbock, TX, burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Xavier Moreno, Juan Ybarra Jr., Joseph Carmargo, Adam Vasquez, Isaac Salazar and Davian Jadan Avera.
