Ildifonso Barajas

Ildifonso (Poncho) Barajas, 80, beloved husband and father, was called to his eternal resting place on November 18, 2020. He entered this world on June 24, 1940 in Crystal City, TX, born to Jose Antonio and Francisca Barajas. He is survived by his wife, Margarita Ramon Barajas. Sister, Herminia Guerrero. Son, Alfonso and spouse Noemi Barajas. Son, Jose Antonio and Irma Barajas. Son, Arturo Barajas. Son, Alberto and spouse Deborah Barajas. Daughter, Edna and spouse Jesse Dominguez. Daughter, Annette Barajas. Daughter, Azalia Barajas. He raised grandson, Jose Antonio Barajas, Jr. and Alfredo Barajas. Ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Ildifonso was a hard worker. Built his own construction business from the ground up. He loved restoring old cars as a hobby. A rosary will be held Monday, November 23rd, 2020 at 7:00pm at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Service will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Tuesday, November 24th, 2020 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at the city of Lubbock cemetery.
