Heron Montes Valencia

Heron Montes Valencia passed from this life on January 25, 2022 at the age of 92.  He was born October 25, 1929 in San Mateo, Mexico.  He married Guadalupe Valencia in Lubbock, TX and they shared 46 years together.  Heron was self-employed as a painter and handyman.  He loved to watch wrestling and enjoyed dancing.  He also loved traveling to Mexico to visit his family there.  He liked to barbecue and enjoyed spending time at Buffalo Lake.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Guadalupe Valencia, his sons Ruben and Angel Valencia, and his grandchildren Giovanni, Amy, and Ashley Valencia.

Heron is preceded in death by his mother Angela Montes and his brother Eliseo Valencia.
