Hermelinda Garcia

Hermelinda Garcia passed from this life on October 21, 2022 at the age of 73. She was born November 20, 1948 in Ballinger, TX to Leandro and Antonia Moreno. She shared 45 years of marriage with her husband Pablo Aguilar. Hermelinda spent over 20 years of her life caring for others as a private sitter at Carillon. She enjoyed working and shopping. Hermelinda loved singing and praising God and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.

Hermelinda is survived by her daughters Irma Garcia (Juan Herrera), Julie Garcia (Raul Flores), Paulinda Aguilar, Melanie Mata (Gabriel Mata), and her sons Jesse Garcia, Leandro Garcia, Eddie Garcia, Timothy Garcia (Donna), Lionico Garcia (Twilight), and Duke Aguilar, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Leandro and Antonia Moreno, her husband Pablo Aguilar, her son Raymond Garcia, her sister Carolina Padrion, her granddaughters Deborah Mota and Erica Salazar, and her grandson Gary Garcia.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 26 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.. The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with interment to follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery.
