Gloria Parra-Adame

Luke 23:43 - And he said to her, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." Gloria Parra Adame, age 67, was summoned to the Kingdom of God February 15, 2022.
Gloria was born in Jayton, Texas on October 31, 1954 to Lilly Trevino and Fernando F. Parra. She was a dedicated mother who raised her children with endless love and devotion in Lubbock, Texas.
Gloria retired after a combined 32 steadfast years of service with the Texas Department of Health and Human Services and Texas Department of Corrections, Montford Unit. She will always be remembered for her selflessness, limitless compassion, and a heart that never met a stranger.
She is survived by her parents Martin and Lilly Trevino; her loving husband of 19 years, Roberto Adame; children Jesse Parra (Marcia) and John DeCarlo Flores (Scarlet); grandchildren, Alex Parra (Melissa), Angelica Cavazos (Gabriel), Mateo Parra, Elida Chavira (David), Nathan Rodriguez, and Bryson Flores with several great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels, 407 N University Ave, Lubbock, Texas 79415 on Monday February 21, 2022 from 3:00pm - 9:00pm, and a Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00pm. A second viewing will be held Tuesday morning from 9:00am - 1:30pm.
Funeral Services will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 3111 Erskine St, Lubbock, Texas 79415 on February 22, 2022 at 2:00pm.
