George Rodriguez

George Rodriguez, Sr. passed from this life on June 25, 2024 at the age of 92. He drove an 18-wheeler for over 40 years visiting 48 of our 50 states. He also worked for the Greenhouse Department at Texas Tech for over 20 years. George is survived by his children George Rodriguez, Jr., Margarita Bruno and Ruben Rodriguez, 23 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his children Sylvia Rodriguez, Sofia Garcia, and Robert Rodriguez and his parents Santos Garcia Rodriguez and Mercedes Ramos Rodriguez. George was loved tremendously and will be missed greatly.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 2 at 12:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 1 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.
