George Anna Stockton, born on January 2, 1952, in Camp Crowder, Neosho, Missouri, passed peacefully on April 13, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. George Anna was a cherished daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother whose remarkable life has left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

George Anna worked as the office manager at Eddy County Abstract before enjoying her well-deserved retirement. She married the love of her life, Jimmy D. Stockton, on March 2, 1976, in Pecos, Texas. Together, they shared 50 beautiful years filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

Education was important to George Anna, as she graduated from school in Carterville, MO, where she laid the foundation for her lifelong journey of learning and nurturing. Her warm spirit and infectious laugh had the power to light up any room; she truly was the life of every gathering. Those who were fortunate enough to be welcomed into her home knew it to be a place of warmth and love, a sanctuary where everyone could feel at ease.

George Anna had a remarkable ability to connect with others, never meeting a stranger. Her generosity and willingness to help anyone in need spoke volumes about the kind of person she was. She touched the lives of many with her cooking skills, teaching those around her the art of creating delicious meals that brought people together. Her strength and determination in life were truly inspiring – an overcomer who faced challenges with unwavering faith and resilience.

George Anna leaves behind her devoted husband, Jimmy Stockton; her loving children, Christy (Jeff) Beatty of Arkansas, Robyn (James) Bounds of New Mexico, Renea (Zack) Palen of Florida, and stepson Jared Stockton of Idaho. She adored her grandchildren: Heather, Stephanie, Destini, Miranda, Elizabeth, Dj, and Jason, along with her step-grandchildren: Shawn, Adyson, Brandon, Audrey, and Jason. George Anna was also blessed with great-grandchildren Sam, Hadley, Rory, Josie, Addisynn, Gus, and Liam, with even more great grandbabies on the way: Eden, Hudson, and Brynlee.

George Anna is survived by her brother, Charles Chrisman of Missouri, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish her memory. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Chrisman and Thelma Rutledge; her beloved son, David Coleman; and her sisters Lisa, Gayle, Donna, Vicky, Grace Ann; and brother Hary Lee.

As a devoted member of the Happy Valley Baptist Church, George Anna's faith guided her throughout her life, instilling values of kindness, love, and community in everyone she touched. Her legacy of love will endure through her family and the countless individuals who were inspired by her strength and generosity. George Anna Stockton may have left this world, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were graced by her presence.
