Genoveva Hernandez

Genoveva Hernandez was born on March 16, 1938 to Ansancio and Petra Martinez who preceded her in death. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 24, 2020 at the age of 82 years. Genoveva was also preceded in death by her loving husband of over 39 years, Aurelio Hernandez Sr.; three children, Madaleno Hernandez, Janie Lopez and Trinidad Hernandez. She leaves behind her children; Patsy Vela, Johnny Hernandez, Adelita Hernandez, Aurelio Hernandez Jr. (Leticia), Luis Hernandez (Arasely), Mario Hernandez (Olivia), Sylvia De La Rosa (Javier), Ruben Hernandez, Teresa Valencia (Martin), Christina Hernandez and Marisa Guzman (Emilio), 25 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 2-9pm, and again on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 9am-9pm with the Holy Rosary to be celebrated at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Friday, October 2, 2020 beginning at 10:00am. Interment will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Pallbearers for Genoveva will be Kevin Hernandez, Ricardo Angel Gallegos Jr., Gilbert Hernandez, Rene Hernandez, Randy Hernandez, Brandon Bryand and Martin Alejandro Valencia.
