Francesco "Frank" Lopez was 83 years of age when he passed from this life on June 22, 2023 in Hereford,TX. Frank was born August 21,1939 in Harlington, TX to parents Felipe Lopez-Lopez and Angela G. Morales. Frank later moved to Lubbock in the 70's. Frank is survived by his daughter Irene and husband Marcus of Hereford TX, daughter Elizabeth and husband Jimmy of Raymondville, TX, son Frank Jr. and wife Veronica from Lubbock TX, as well as 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings; brother Ernest Lopez and wife Rosie from Amarillo, TX, brother Albert Morales and wife Coinda of Guymon, OK, sister Martha Morales from Edinburgh,TX , sister Leticia Morales of Hereford, TX . Frank is preceded in death by parents Felipe Lopez-Lopez and Angela G. Morales, stepfather Adam Morales, brother Larry Lopez, Amado Lopez and grandson Jonathan Lopez. Frank mastered the craft of woodworking for 60+ years where he frequently worked along with his son Frank Lopez Jr. Frank was ordained as a Deacon in 2005 which he went on to serve the church of St. Philip Benizi and his retirement in 2014 and continued faithfully serving God and his church family. Frank had many hobbies such as bowling, boxing, fishing, playing cornhole and agriculture specifically planting fruit trees. Some of Franks' favorite foods were pork chops, ice cream, a guadalajara chalupa, and loved his over easy eggs. Frank will always be remembered for his dedication to serving God, his love for his family and friends, his sense of humor, laughter, his smile, humbleness, his acceptance to anyone that came his way. Frank had many cousins, many friends, nieces and nephews that he loved, and they loved him unconditionally. Frank was the strongest man we know, and his family and friends are very thankful to have had him in their lives. Most of all, he was the greatest gift and blessing God gave us all in life!!

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, July 1 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church with interment to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday 3:oo to 9:00p.m. and Friday, June 30 from 9:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with the Holy Rosary service at 7:00. The family suggests memorial donations be given to St. Phillip Benizi Catholic Church Shallowater Tx.
