Frank Rivas Guerra

Frank Rivas Guerra was born in Charco, TX on September 12, 1941 to Regino and Antonia Guerra who preceded him in death. Frank went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the age of 78 years. He is also preceded in death by a son, Frank Guerra; and by two step-children, James Martinez and Brenda Anderson. Frank leaves behind his loving wife, Dominga Guerra, six children; Irma Guerra, Guadalupe Guerra, Esmeralda Guerra Vinson, John Guerra (Sheila) and Alma Guerra (Arturo), eight step-children; Sam Guzman, Linda Guzman, Paul Guzman, Norma Martinez, Kenneth Martinez, Tommy Anderson, Joann Anderson and Marie Anderson, 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, brother, Noe Guerra and by four sisters; Sylvia Guerra, Delia Dickinson, Blanca Boyle and Eva Burciaga. One thing he was so very proud of was his work with the City of Lubbock Water Department. He worked for the city for over 25 years continually. Visitation will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 1-9pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue on Monday morning from 9am-1pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
