Francisco Uriegas

Francisco V. Uriegas Jr. was born in San Antonio, TX on January 30, 1938 to Francisco V. Uriegas, Sr. and Josefina Vidaurri who preceded him in death. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 11, 2019 at the age of 81 years. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Uriegas. Francisco leaves behind his loving wife of over 61 years, Consuelo Ortega Uriegas; children, David Uriegas (Angel), Daniel Uriegas (Gloria), Ester Flores (Armando), Linda Ramirez, Corina Garcia (Isaac), Christina Uriegas, Josie Martinez (Joseph) and Amanda Uriegas; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; sister, Estella Muth (Rudy); and two brothers, Juan Uriegas (Carmen) and Nasario Castillo. Visitation will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Wednesday, November 13 from 5-9pm and again on Thursday, November 14 from 9am-9pm with a prayer service to be held beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm on Friday, November 15 at the Rock City Event Center in Lubbock. Interment will follow in Peaceful Garden Cemetery.
