Francisca Z. (Zamora) Cantu

Francisca Z. Cantu, a beloved Mother and Grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place at the age of 86 on December 30, 2018. She entered this world on October 4,1932 in Ecleto, Texas, born to Pioquinto and Andrea Zamora. She enjoyed being a homemaker, in addition to knitting and crocheting. She is preceded in death by her son Rene Cantu and daughter Rosalinda Cantu. She is survived by her one sister Modesta Nabarete, 3 sons George Cantu, Manuel Cantu, Jaime Cantu, 3 daughters Ana Cantu, Lorenza Lopez, and Chavela Cantu. She is also survived by multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A rosary and viewing will be held Saturday, January 5th and 6th at 7 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. A mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 7th at 10 a.m. in Lubbock, Texas at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Piña officiating. Following the service the burial site will be at the Nevel Cemetery located in Tahoka, Texas.
