Fidela R. (Reyes) Rodriguez

Fidela Reyes Rodriguez of Lubbock, TX was born in Santa Elena, TX on March 2, 1933 to Benito and Martina Reyes who preceded her in death. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 1, 2019 at the age of 85 years. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 49 years, Severiano Rodriguez; one son, Baldomero Rodriguez; six sisters, Isabel, Felicitas, Ofelia, Celia, Maria and Adelaida; and by three brothers, Vicente, Nasario and Juan. Ms. Rodriguez is survived by seven children, Sylvia Granados (Jorge), Yolanda Rodriguez (Larry), Teresita Gilliland (Ron), Gerardo Rodriguez (Carrie), Monica Rubino (George), Benito Rodriguez, Sr., and Marco Rodriguez (Nicole); 26 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; and by three sisters, Guadalupe Mancias, Imelda Saenz and Elida Gonzales. Visitation will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Tuesday, March 5 from 9am-9pm, and again on Wednesday, March 6 from 9am-9pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm Wednesday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 7 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00am. Interment will be in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery, Woodrow, TX.
