Felix Garcia Reyes

Felix Garcia Reyes passed from this life on October 25, 2022 at the age of 74. He was born July 17, 1948 in Runge, TX to Demetrio and Josefina Reyes. On November 28, 1966 he married Irene Reyes and they shared 56 years together. Felix attended New Deal High School and spent 50 years farming Noel Farms. He liked barbecuing, fishing, and raising roosters. He also enjoyed playing poker and bingo.
Felix was a fan of watching western movies, Andy Griffith, and the Dallas Cowboys. More than anything he loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his kindness, love, and golden heart. The memories of his singing, dance moves, and sense of humor will always bring a smile.
Felix is survived by his beloved wife Irene, his children Irma Ibarra, Norma Reyes, Maryann (Roberto) Banuelos, Ray Reyes, and Audrey Reyes, five grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Nazario, Rudy, Rosendo, Frank, Lupe Sr.; his sisters Amy, Benita, and Eva; his son Isaiah Garcia, and his grandson Humberto Ibarra, Jr.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 28 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary at 7:00.
Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Petersburg on Saturday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m.
