Felix Montoya Adame

October 17, 1964 — June 14, 2025

It is with a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Felix Montoya Adame, a cherished son, husband, father, brother, and friend. Born on October 17, 1964, in Lubbock, Texas, Felix’s exuberant spirit and warm heart touched all who had the privilege of knowing him. He departed this world unexpectedly on June 14, 2025, in Arlington, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.

Felix dedicated his professional life to being a Coordinator at Arcil in Carrollton, Texas, manager of the Cafeterias at University Medical Center and at Baylor in Ft. Worth, where he exemplified commitment and compassion. His professional endeavors were marked by an unwavering dedication to helping others, yet it was in his personal life that he truly shone. He was a man of remarkable character—funny, outgoing, and passionate, he brought joy to gatherings and solace to those who needed it most. Felix's love for his family was boundless; he embraced them with a warmth and tenderness that will echo in their hearts forever.

A proud graduate of Texas Tech University, earning his Bachelor of Social Work in his 30s, Felix illustrated that tenacity and devotion could yield remarkable accomplishments. His daughters, Valerie and Isabel, stood as the bright jewels in his existence, and he relished every moment spent guiding them and instilling in them the values of love, faith, and perseverance. Beyond his familial ties, Felix’s vibrant personality was imbued with his deep faith in Jesus, a foundation that shaped his outlook on life and his relationships.

Felix was not only an ardent family man but also a devoted sports enthusiast. His love for Texas Tech and football was palpable; he was a season ticket holder and amassed memorabilia that showcased his unwavering support for the team he loved.

He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted spouse, Barbara Adame; his beloved daughters, Valerie and Isabel Adame; his mother, Henrietta Rodriguez; his older brother, Angelo (Becky) Adames; his niece April Adame; and nephew Angelo Adame Jr..  Felix was preceded in death by his father, Isabel Adame, and his stepfather, Frank Rodriguez—men who left their own marks upon his life.

As we gather to celebrate Felix Adame's remarkable journey, let us carry forth his legacy—a testament to the power of love, the joy of family, and the unwavering light of hope. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, his spirit gently guiding us through the moments that lie ahead.
