Felicitas Cantu

Felicita Flores Cantu passed from this life peacefully from her home on February 6, 2025, at the age of 100. She was born in Brady, Texas on March 30, 1924, to Joseph and Maria Flores. She married Pablo Cantu on January 10, 1955, and they shared 60 years of marriage building a beautiful family. Felicita loved her family immensely and deeply enjoyed spending time with and cooking for them. Her grandchildren were a source of joy she greatly loved to share moments with. She was a retired housekeeper and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She enjoyed going to church, walking in the park, and watching westerns.
Felicita is survived by her three children Otilia Martinez, Josephine Magallanes, Pablo Flores Cantu, her three grandchildren Tony Martinez, Nick Martinez, Samuel Steven Todd, ten great-grandchildren Joshua Martinez, Marissa Martinez, Malakai Martinez, Evangeline Martinez, Joseph Martinez, Jordan Martinez, Gage Martinez, Lexie Martinez, Alexander V. Todd, Theodore H. Todd, and three great-great-grandchildren Kelsey Martinez, Brooklyn Martinez, and Evelyn Martinez. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Pablo Cantu, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father John Restrepo officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 11 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
