Everardo Duran

Everardo F. Duran, 70, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 26, 2020. He was born February 26, 1950 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Guadalupe and Luz Fernandez Duran. In 1978, he married his wife Gloria in Lamesa, Texas, and they shared 35 years together. He attended Moroleon in Guanajuato Mexico and was employed at Eagle Picher Technologies and later Texas Tech where he employed his skills of welding, maintenance, and landscaping. Everardo was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos. He loved spending time with his family and his grandchild Carlitos. He enjoyed growing plants and fruit trees. Everardo will be remembered for his generosity, friendship and loyalty to family, friends, and strangers. He had a strong faith and much love for his home church.

Visitation services will be held Tuesday, September 29 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, September 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:00 Wednesday evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
