Eve G. Stafford, 75, passed away on March 28, 2020, in Lubbock, Texas. She was the wife of Scott Pruitt.
Eve was born June 7, 1944, in Morton, TX to parents Saturino and Angelita Gonzalez.
She graduated from SPC Nursing School, and was employed at Golden Age Nursing Home where she worked as an LVN.
Eve enjoyed BBQ’s and all holidays. She also enjoyed camping and the lake.
She will be remembered for her amazing cooking skills.
She is survived by her daughters Delilah Bottoms (Franklin), Lisa Vega (Christopher), son Charles Curtis (Sabrina), 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, her sister Olivia Bautista, and her two brothers Lupe and Jesse Gonzalez.
She is preceded in death by her husband Scott Pruitt, her son Michael Alvarado, both parents Saturino and Angelita Gonzalez, one grandson Dustin Casas, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels from 9am to 9pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. A Rosary service will be scheduled later with comida to follow.
A burial service will be held in the Morton Cemetery in Morton, TX at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2020.
