Evangelina Perez

Evangelina Flores Perez passed from this life on March 27, 2023 at the age of 77. She married Ruben L. Perez on September 5, 1964 in Lubbock, Texas. They shared 58 years together spending their days caring for their family. Evangelina enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sports and games, gambling, and watching the Texas Rangers. She will be remembered for spending time with her family and for her stubbornness.
Evangelina is survived by her children Ruben (Elida) Perez Jr., Alfonso (Juanita) Perez Sr., Amanda Perez, and Steven (Susie) Perez; her grandchildren Erica Perez, Ruben Perez III, Brandon Perez, Alfonso Perez Jr., Veronica Perez, Priscilla Perez, Eric Perez, Avain Perez, Chasity Perez, Aliza Perez, Isaiah Perez, Mallory Perez, Ricky Thomas Jr., Desiree Perez, Isaac Perez, Jeremiah Perez, and Joey Perez, her 22 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters and a brother. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents Gomecindo and Venancia Florez, 3 siblings, and her son Rudy Perez.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 30th, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens  Cemetery in Woodrow, Texas.
