Evangelina’s devotion to her family was evident in the care and guidance she extended throughout her lifetime. Her legacy continues in the hearts of those she leaves behind: her daughters, Rosa Lopez, Donna Dominguez and her husband Randy Dominguez, and Corina Leal, as well as her beloved sons, Benigno Palacios, Jr. and his wife Lety Palacios, Joe David Palacios and his wife Lacy Cantu, and Jerry Palacios. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren near and far, remain a living testament to her love and dedication. Her family circle further extends to her sisters, Estella Flores and husband Ray Flores, Margarita Valdez, Connie Sheets, and Elisa Owen and husband Buddy Owen, her brother, Joe Valdez; and many nieces and nephews whose lives she touched with gentle wisdom and warmth.

Evangelina was predeceased by her husband, Benigno Palacios Sr., whose companionship was a source of great strength. She joins in rest her beloved daughters, Tomasita Gonzales and Juanita Palacios, her father, Jose Valdez, her mother Tomasa Valdez, her brothers Efren Valdez and Ernest Valdez, and her sisters Juanita Ortega, Vera Roys, and Elida Valdez.

Throughout her journey, Evangelina’s life was interwoven with profound love for her immediate and extended family. She guided her children and grandchildren with a steady heart and inspired those around her with her compassion and grace. Evangelina’s memory will be cherished for generations, her spirit living on through the values she instilled and the bonds she fostered among her loved ones. Her life and legacy will be honored by those who survive her, and the impact she made will not be forgotten. As Evangelina is laid to rest, she will be remembered fondly for her selflessness, steadfastness, and the warmth she extended so generously to everyone in her embrace.
