Evangelina Hernandez

Evangelina Hernandez passed from this life on November 12, 2021, at the age of 76. She was born December 26, 1944, to Librado and Margarita Hernandez in Brackettville, Texas.
Evangelina was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and caregiver who enjoyed playing Bingo. She will be remembered for her unconditional, motherly love that she shared with all who knew her.
She is survived by several sons, daughters, and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Sophia Garcia, and her brother, Toby Hernandez.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary prayer at 7:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
