Eutimio B. Gonzales

Our loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Eutimio B.Gonzales, 96, went to be with our heavenly Lord on May 27, 2019. Eutimio was born in San Angelo to the late Sylvester and Juanita Gonzales on December 24, 1922. He was married to the late Uldarica Sanchez on January 2, 1943 in Lubbock. Eutimio was a minister and servant of the Lord. He entered ministry in 1950 at the age of 27. He loved to praise, sing, dance, and spend time with his family. He married Ella Salazar on December 28 th , 1974. Retiring from the United Methodist Church in 1988 but continued with ministry until reunion with the Lord. Survivors include his loving wife, Ella; children: Tim Jr. and wife Gloria of Lubbock, Tx, Sylvester and wife Felicia of Highland Ranch, CO, Edward and wife Carl of Irving, Tx, Sammy and wife Janie of Lubbock, Tx, Abel of Dallas, Tx, Joel and wife Brenda of Lubbock, Tx, Carlos and wife Billie of Lubbock, Tx, Betty and husband Pete of Highland Ranch, CO, JoAnn DeAnda of Temple, Tx, Hector and wife Minerva of Lubbock, Tx, Travis Salazar and wife Minnie of Waco, Tx, Johnny and wife Marina of McAllen, Tx; 168 grandchildren; great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Services will be provided by Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Oakwood United Methodist Church prayer service to be recited beginning at 6:00pm. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, May 31, 2019 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood United Methodist Church. Interment services to follow in City of Lubbock Cemetery.
