Ethan Blake Alvarado

Ethan Blake Alvarado, 20, passed away on November 24,2020 in Lubbock. Ethan was born August 30, 2000 in Lubbock, TX to Richard Alvarado and Brandy Trevino. He graduated from Lubbock Cooper High School in 2019 and was attending South Plains College. He was planning on becoming a Marine and returning home to work as a highway patrol officer.Ethan loved God, his family, and sports. He especially loved fishing with his grandpa Gilbert and cousins which were more like brothers, Isiah Gutierrez and Austin Segovia. He also loved hanging out with his girlfriend Gaby Marinelarena.His favorite sports were basketball,football, and baseball. He made hundreds of lifetime friends and family from all of his youth sports and high school sports. He never met anyone he didn't like.Ethan is preceded in death by his grandma Minerva Alvarado and cousin Janelle Gutierrez.Family left to cherish is memory are his parents Richard Alvarado and Brandy Trevino, sisters Brittany Alvarado (Eddie Tomlinson), Mia Alvarado, and his little brother and (twin) Nate Alvarado; Grandpa Richard Alvarado Sr, Ginger Alvarado, and Especial Herrera; grandparents Gilbert and Louisa Trevino; aunts Bridgett Trevino (Salvador Guerrero), Cindy Segovia (Issac Segovia); multiple cousins; a niece and a nephew.Pallbearers: Richard Alvarado Sr.,Gilbert Trevino, Isiah Gutierrez, Austin Segovia, Issac Segovia, and Eddie Tomlinson.Ethan’s family extends deepest thanks to all the friends, family, and co-workers for all of the love and support during this difficult time.Ethan's favorite scripture:"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Philippians 4:13.Ethan loved God and knew Heaven would be an awesome place.Visitation will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 3-9 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.A funeral service will be held Friday, December 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Encounter Grace Church. Burial will follow at Peaceful Garden Memorial Park in Woodrow, TX.
