Estella Lopez Adame

Estella Lopez Adame went to be with our Lord Jesus on September 1, 2021 at her home. She married Jesus Adame in 1945 in Montemorelos, NL, Mexico and they were married 49 years. She was born on September 23, 1927 in Montemorelos, Nuevo León, Mexico to Dionicio Lopez and Anita Aguilar. She was employed at La Malinche, Piccadilly, College Inn and Texas Tech University Center before retiring in 1987. She loved raising her 11 children, traveling, gardening, cooking, and providing for her family. She will be remembered for her faithfulness to the Lord and her devotion to her family. She is survived by her children Maria Beard, Bertha (Cruz) Sanchez, Lucia (Felix) Picón, Nancy (Olegario) Sanchez, Rachel Nelson, Oralia (Larry) Leivas, Ernest (Diana) Adame, Emilio (Cathy) Adame, Margie (Serafin) Infante, Cindy (Jr) Peralez, and daughter-in-law Consuelo Gonzales Adame, 35 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and son Fred Adame. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels at 1pm at 407 N University, Lubbock, TX 79415 with interment immediately following at Peaceful Gardens.
