Ernest Montoya was born on October 23, 1952 in Lubbock, TX to Joel and Elodia Montoya. His mother Elodia, and brother Adam preceded him in death. He passed away in Lubbock, TX at the age of 66 years. He leaves behind his four daughters, Tammie, Patricia (Victor), Christina (Marcos) and Michelle; brother, Joel; 12 grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Stephanie, Destinie, Sadie, Gabrielle, Jizelle, Ellie, Derek, Breanna, Aiden and Christina; and nine great grandchildren; Isiah, Eziah, Laura, Arianna, Christopher, Tay, Zacharius, Juliette and Adalyn. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels beginning at 6:00pm.
