Ermila “Billie” DeLeon, age 69, passed away March 31, 2020, surrounded by loved ones in her home. Billie was born July 7, 1950, in Edinburg, TX to Gustavo Reyna, Sr. and Adelita Reyna. Billie married Max DeLeon February 21, 1972, in Brownfield, TX and shared 48 years together. She graduated from Jesse Lee Beauty School and was employed at Mademoiselle Hair Fashions where she worked as a hairstylist for 20 years.
Billie enjoyed cooking Sunday lunch for all of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the casino with her partner in crime, Max. Ultimately, Billie loved her husband, family and home. She will be remembered for her honesty, loyalty and a heart that loved endlessly and enormously. Her contagious laugh and smile that exuded love will forever be in our memories.
Billie is survived by her husband, Max DeLeon; her two sons, Jason (Cassie) DeLeon and Nick DeLeon; her four brothers, Gustavo Reyna, Jr., Rene Reyna, Rey Reyna, Oscar Reyna; and eight grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father Gustavo Reyna, Sr., her mother, Adelita Reyna, and her grandson, Gavin DeLeon.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 3, 2020, at 12:00PM at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery with Father Martin Pena officiating. Viewing will be at Guajardo Funeral Chapels Thursday, April 2 from 2:00PM-9:00PM and Friday morning from 9:00-11:30.
