Erlinda Garnica

Erinda Garnica passed from this life on August 17, 2022 at the age of 75. She was born May 15, 1947 in Mathis, TX to Francisco and Guadalupe Gutierrez. She shared 30 years with her spouse Noe Hernandez. Linda was employed at Lubbock ISD Food Services and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching Western movies, cooking, and baking. Linda will be remembered for her generous heart, her glowing smile and her contagious laugh. She had no filter, called everyone "little girl" and "little boy" and she often said, "Oh dear!"

Linda is survived by her spouse Noe Hernandez; her children Ruben and Elena Cavazos, Jeanette Trevino, Joe Garnica, JoAnn Garnica and Mike Tole, Jennifer G. and Martin Diaz; her grandchildren Robert Cavazos, Christopher Trevino, Michael Cavazos, Britney Garnica, Joshua Deleon, Seth Diaz, Gabriella Diaz, Zaid Diaz, and Joseph Diaz; and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Joe Gutierrez, David Gutierrez, Luis Gutierrez, her sister Ramona Romo and her grandson Joe Garnica, Jr.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 21 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Monday, August 22 a funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.
