Emilio Rodriguez

Emilio Rodriguez Rios passed from this life on February 1, 2022 at the age of 81.  He was born April 5, 1940 in La Efigenia Romita, Guanajuato to Viviana Rios and Rosario Rodriguez.  He married Maria DeJesus Rodriguez on December 12, 1965, and they shared 57 years together.

Emilio was a member of the St. Joseph Choir.  He enjoyed listening to music, making pinatas, enjoying time with family, being outdoors, singing and making friends.  He will be remembered for loving, his sense of humor, playing his guitar, spending time with his grandchildren and being carizmatico.

Those left to cherish his memory are Maria De Jesus Rodriguez, Victoria Granados, Albina Rodriguez, Marisela Granados, Maria Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez, Araceli Rodriguez, 30 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Emilio is preceded in death by Viviana Rios, Rosario Rodriguez, Pedro Rodriguez, Gregorio Rodriguez, and Aurora Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm- 9:00pm, on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm, on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
