Elidio T. Gonzalez

Elidio T. Gonzalez passed from this life on March 6, 2023 at the age of 72. He was born August 3, 1950 in Camargo Chih to Cristina and Pedro Gonzalez. In October of 1990, he married his bride Manuela, and they shared 33 years together. Elidio was retired from farming and was a member of Emmanuel Worship Center. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working outside in the yard. He will be remembered for his generosity and how he loved to share the word of God.
Elidio is survived by his beloved wife Manuela, his sons Edgar Gonzalez and Joel Gonzalez, and his sisters Vicenta Gonzalez Torres, Luz Gonzalez Torres, MaElena Gonzalez Torres, and Antonia Gonzalez Torres. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Angel Gonzalez, Florentino Gonzalez (Chiquillo), and Cruz Gonzalez.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Worship Center 1102 70th Street in Lubbock with interment to follow at Terrace Cemetery 1280 US-380 in Post, Texas.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, March 12 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, March 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
