Elida Chairez

Elida T. Chairez was born April 16, 1933 and passed from this life on December 22, 2022 at the age of 89. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Elida enjoyed watching TV, drinking Diet Pepsi, and shopping for her grandkids. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose favorite moments were spent with her family and her dog Chico. Elida will be remembered for going the extra mile for her grandchildren.
Elida is survived by her children Tony Ray and Alex Roy (Mary Ann), 9 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father Luis Trejo, her mother Consuelo Trejo, her brother Luis Trejo Jr., her son Ernest Lee, her granddaughter Mona Lisa, and her grandsons Ruben and Alex Jr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
